Falling Leaves Lariat

I designed this lariat style necklace and matching bracelet

using beautiful cylindrical glass Delica beads forming flat bands for

both. Smaller Delicas were intricately woven into shapes of delicate

leaves to add as a delightful fringe at each end of the lariat. The Lariat is 38 inched long to be draped around the neck and

knotted at your preferred chest level.

"Purple Delight"

This 'Dutch Spiral' necklace and bracelet sing "delicate beauty". Clear outer glass with violet colored center beads surround a core of deep solid cranberry seed beads.

The 28 inch long necklace easily slips over your head and the bracelet has a an easy to clasp magnet.

"Cleopatra"

Tri-color , light and dark gold metallic and maroon- lustered glass beads make up a mesmerizing 'Twisted Herrinbone Stitch' necklace 27 inches long. The gold plated toggle clasp is mounted on brushed gold end caps.

BUT....When I finished the hollow rope, I felt something was missing!

Inspiration struck.....I remembered an Art Deco earring set gifted to me by my friend Martin from a thrift store for pets in Tom's River, New Jersey and Voila!....a perfect color and theme match.

Then I designed a matching bracelet with the other earring thus repurposing the beautiful enameled clip earrings.

Peridot Green Lariat

Lariat necklaces lend themselves to innovative ways to twist and turn........shorten, lengthen....having fun coming up with new ways to drape them around your neck.

This green and green/gold seed bead lariat, fringed with varying drops of clear, green-gold and peridot colored glass beads is just plain fun to wear dressing up or dressing down!

"Victorian Elegance"

A dear friend had gifted me a couple of 'found' vintage brass fittings encrusted with beautiful glass inserts reminding me of a modified 'Fleur-de-lis' French design. Perfect focal points for a necklace in my imagination! One day beading and using a diagonal peyote pattern I knew it was the perfect necklace design to show off this lovely 'found' Fleur De Lys. The necklace is 22" long and the easy closure is a Victorian style magnetic clasp.

Twisted Herringbone Necklaces

I so enjoy weaving 'twisted Herringbone' stitch ropes in a variety of colors. They are made up of four strands of round glass beads woven together to form a spiral. The three featured represent to me the Christmas season; the greens of Summer; and Lilac/silver for Spring. The circumference of the short ropes is approximately 24 to 25 inches hanging approximately mid upper chest. Easy to put on over your head without a need for a clasp. I have made a large variety of styles and colors for every occasion and color palette.

'Goldenrod"

This three strand "Citrine Quartz" crystals and gold colored pressed glass necklace is an exception to my usual seed bead weaving. I just fell in love with the glistening Citrine Quarts chips at a minerals show and knew I would one day make them into a 'sunshine-like'

piece of jewelry. Doubling the fun of making this piece is the meaning attributed to citrine quarts: 'optimism', 'prosperity' and 'joy'.

The decorative gold plated clasp from India continues the theme with sunlight discs and delicate swirls.

Honeycomb Necklace, Earring and Bracelet Set

This mix of multicolored sparkling glass beads reminded me of the honeycomb filled with golden nectar made by the "Girls" working away in my backyard beehives.

The necklace 'Bee' charm hangs at mid-chest, 14 " from the magnetic clasp. The "cuff' style bracelet is 2 1/2" wide by

7"long. The earrings dangle 2 inches.

'Fantastique"

The design for this necklace evolved when I was experimenting with the idea of making interconnecting 'fans' joined by glass 'drop' beads.

"Rainbow" rope necklace and peyote bracelet

Joyful rainbow colors jump with joy in this rope necklace and flat peyote bracelet. The bracelet 's decorative button 'flower of life' closure is of sterling silver .

"Royal Blue & Silver" and "Tourmaline" Waterfall Scarves

These 'netted' scarf necklaces follow a pattern of ancient Japanese fishing nets. Each individual strand is connected every two inches to another strand interspersed with larger translucent glass beads. 43" Long.

A truly long and intensive bead weaving project resulting in an amazing softly draping waterfall of glistening glass beads.

Greenways Rainbow Trio

This bracelet is composed of cobalt blue swirling glass YoYo beads surrounded by a double ring of seed beads, all connected with Swarovski crystals. The knotted clasp is sterling Silver. The Earrings are cobalt stoneware with sterling hoops.

Turquoise, cobalt blue and silver glass seed beads twisted into a rope necklace and horizontally patterned as a bracelet remind me of the differing colors of our skies and our blue marbled earth as seen from space.....and bring me a sence of immensity and peace.

Spring Honeybee

I wove the rope for this necklace with a herringbone twist technique and laid it aside for further inspiration. Then, in March of this year (2022), as I planned for adding a new hive to my Honeybee Yard, inspiration arrived.....as a "honeybee foraging for nectar" focal piece.!

This lariat type beaded necklace displays the exquisite St. Petersburg feathered design with the warmth of honey and golden brown evoking the honeybees in your garden.

"Mint Julep"

This necklace was inspired directly by two ideas:

One was the splendid Victorian era jewelry gloriously depicted in the series 'Downton Abbey'.

The second, was the various twining vines...Clematis and Morning Glory in my garden.

Three different techniques of glass seed bead weaving combined in this design resulted in a softly draping textured rope necklace.
